The Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal is a non-profit Society of electrologists, physicians, nurses, and medical esteticians with members from throughout the world. It is one of the most prestigious professional organizations with roots tracing back to the original founding in 1935 of the Electrolysis Society of America. SCMHR is designed to provide an active, responsive association of professionals who strive for recognition of the practice of hair removal through credentialing.
