Description
This 2-hour course will examine and affirm the existence of Gender Dysphoria (GD) in the questioning client. The following themes will be analyzed and discussed:
- Different clinical terms and its importance in the transgender community
- Research on possible causes of GD
- Barriers to proper health care delivery for the transgender client
- List of resources to make available for the transgender client
